Our app processes thousands of receipts per day, and each uploaded receipt is usually rewarded within 24 hours.
Some receipts may take several days to process, especially longer receipts, or receipts that have unique formatting (i.e. non-standard date, placement of business name, etc).
Occasionally our system can make mistakes when processing your receipts, but no need to worry!
If you notice an error with your rewards for a receipt after it has completely finished processing - oftentimes a receipt error corrects itself prior to finishing processing - just tap the Report a Mistake button displayed at the bottom of the receipt’s detail page.
Some receipts will not show the option to Report a Mistake after processing. If you believe there is still incorrect information, please write in to support@shoparoo.com instead.
Tell us why your receipt should be reprocessed and you're all set!
This option will not award receipts that were correctly rejected, so make sure receipts qualify by checking that you pictures were clear, unaltered, and include the required details:
1. Store Name
2. List of Purchased Items with Prices
3. Transaction Date
4. Transaction Total
If your uploaded images are blurry or the receipt is too faded or altered, our system won’t be able to process it even if you resubmit it. This option is available for up to 2 weeks after your receipt finishes processing!
It's also possible your receipt does not qualify for rewards. Learn which types of receipts do not qualify for rewards.
